HOW DO I GET TO SEW+SEW?
WE ARE LOCATED AT 155 CECIL B MOORE AVE IN FISHTOWN BETWEEN FRONT AND 2ND ST
BY BICYCLE ENJOY THE BIKE LANE ON AMERICAN AVE. THERE ARE SIGN POSTS AND RACKS TO LOCK TO ON CECIL B
BY TRAIN THE STUDIO IS A 9 MINUTE WALK FROM THE BERKS STOP ON THE FRANKFORD LINE
BY SEPTA ROUTE 57 STOPS AT AMERICAN + CECIL B JUST A COUPLE BLOCKS FROM THE STUDIO
BY CAR THERE IS STREET PARKING AVAILABLE ON CECIL B AND SURROUNDING STREETS. PLEASE CHECK SIGNS SINCE SOME ZONES ARE 1-2 HOUR PARKING.

DOES SEW+SEW HAVE MACHINES I CAN USE?
Yes! We have domestic tabletop sewing machines available, as well as sergers and an overlock machine.
You are welcome to bring and work on your own machine if you'd like the practice.
CAN I BRING MY OWN SEWING MACHINE?
Yes! You're welcome to bring your personal machine to use for lessons or workshops. Just don't forget to pack the power cord and a bobbin.
WHAT TOOLS DOES SEW + SEW PROVIDE?
We provide sewing machines (sergers + domestic machines), scissors, rulers, chalk, irons, and pins. You must bring your own patterns, instructions, fabric, thread and any notions you may need for your projects
WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SEW?
Gotta start somewhere! You can sign up for one of our Intro to Sewing workshops or book a private lesson and learn sewing machine basics and finish a small project in one session.
ARE THE MACHINES INDUSTRIAL?
Our machines are heavy duty but not industrial. Thickness in jeans and canvas is ok but please note some fabrics may not work with our set up. We caution against thick leathers and vinyl with these machines.

IS SEW+SEW WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Unfortunately no. SEW SEW is located on the 1st floor of the Sharktown Building. Access to the space requires stepping up and down less than 5 steps.
CAN I RESCHEDULE MY STUDIOTIME?
Due to our limitedspace, all reservations are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please contact sewandsewphl@gmail.com within 48 hours of purchase. No rescheduling within 72 hours of Studiotime (emergency exceptions only)

That is going to be specific to your project and personal ability. Always assume it will take a little longer than expected
